Blog Candy winner is ........................

Comment 17

Ribenaruby

My funniest one was a school field trip as part of a geography lesson where my best mate and I mistakingly took the wrong turn and ended up in fields. We could not see any one else in sight and had to trudge through muddy, wet fields and fences wearing only trainers and white socks. Well, we were a sight to see because no-one could understand how dirty we had become when everyone else were as smart as when we arrived. The both of us had to have front seats on the coach as no-one wanted to sit with us!

who wins a Sarah Kay stamp and goodies

Congratulations
I will be contacting you to send your goodies off to you.

Thank you to everyone who made a comment

they were fabulous to read.

Out in the country ..........

What a wonderful country scene and it brought up memories of this apt verse.

"Nor rural sights alone, but rural sounds exhilarate the spirit

and restore the tone of languid nature-William Cowper"

I think Clarance is living dangerously on that tractor though LOL

I got the best award....................

anyone could receive........ from one of my little students
thats going up to BIG school in sept.
It was a very emotional day on Thursday.

Oh Wow....Remember When Series 3

Down at the bottom of the garden or on his allotment is where my hubby remembers his Dad
and I think that must have been passsed down as its now hubby in the veg patch growing veg for the next generation.
I've raised the front panel on this one with a box for space for a few packets of seeds as hubby is always losing them in the drawers.

It makes a great gift package for the men in your family.

quick countdown of the last week of term

Its Monday and today it's been a hectic day with the school term due to end,
Today's schedule was to make another 10 graduation cards, shop for 25 prizes for the bingo night tomorrow get back in time for the awards ceremony, there were tears from all parents as the little ones got their award, get kids fed in time to take them to the cinema to watch kung fu Panda If you want a film to see over the holidays this is it,it kept Josh entertained for the whole 2 hours then its was back to making 4 cards ready to be posted by Wednesday morning. I think I can d it ready for tomorrow and the graduation ceremony and the first Bingo night (running it )
Any one got a glass of wine I think I need one LOL

A tip: get a cocktail stick and attach a repo glue dot to the end for getting those sneaky little embellishments like brads and gems out of your stash boxes saves time and effort in emptying out your box for that last blue eyelet you have LOL.

Wow...........my mum's a wonder

Im in a flap ...excited but in a flap.....

Ive been asked to do a card demonstration whooopeee or is that OMG
A local knitting group wish to do something different and have asked me to go to their group and take something for them to make instead of knitting.
Oh the ideas are running through my head now of what to show them.
If they enjoy it, it will become a regular monthly thing for them to do
and get me out of the shed for an afternoon.
A tip:Use an old telephone directory or catalogue for scrap paper under your work this is ideal when using spray mount, glue or mist sprays.
you can just rip the page out after use and your ready for the next project
and it saves your work space from getting covered.
