Remember..... When La Pashe Christmas collection

Well what can I say apart from I love this set so much
I've been spoilt for choice of what to make with it.

The first thing I did was cut it all out and decoupage the pieces up including the little decoupage from the sample sheet(waste nothing me LOL)
It was very fiddly but worth it if you want to make Atc's or small cards.

With the Carol singers at the door sheet I made an A4 Card, versamarked snow flakes on a backing piece of red card, cut out some Christmas papers to edge the top and bottom then added the decoupage onto gold and red backing paper then mounted it onto a A5 green card (why you ask ?) so the card can then have a secret Christmas message inside it( I printed out a silent night song sheet )this I kept closed with fantastic Velcro dots.

With the children at the fireside sheet I made a quick card added some merry Christmas embossed card to the main card then mounted the decoupage on the front
Simple but effective I hope.

With the small decoupages pieces I made a little box of Christmas. (those who went to Manchester last year will remember how one of these is made) I took 12 pieces of card all the same size, mine were all red with six of the pieces I covered them with assorted Xmas papers you can do this with the other six also if you wish then I mounted the small decoupage onto various pieces of card stock and adhered them to the six pieces of card I'd covered. With 2 pieces of ribbon the same length I assembled the cards, front cover to back cover, ribbon in between You need a small space in between the cards as you assemble or they wont concertina together well.Once it was all stuck together you have a Christmas scene with the run up to Christmas in one card I made a quick box to hold them all in place and added a greeting and ribbon.

Oh and I made some Christmas tags with the other sample pieces (told you I'd try not to waste anything LOL) I triple embossed the pieces so they had a glossy effect to them then scrunched them so they cracked a little (why you ask again?) So I can distress them a little. I used walnut stain and aged paper inks and an edge distresser on the pictures then mounted them on to some cards cut out with the rectangle nestabilites then added some ribbon ties

I'm still playing with the other sheets along with the singles collection you can get from the
imag-e-nation eshop so pop back soon to see those.

Went to visit daughter and little Pheobe

I am so proud of Steph she's took to motherhood wonderfully, both of them are fine and doing really well. Little Pheobe has a little jaundice but a few days watching the birds in the window and she'll be fine.

They are home and safe

All resting nicely back in their own home and now the worry really begins LOL. My creative spurt went out the window so I'd better get back to it as well as pack sons suitcase for his holiday in Scotland. I will miss him dearly but not the arguments with his little brother right back to the task at hand.
Catch you soon folks
