Why is it when your asked if you have a card you never have the one they need.Had to make this new baby card for a friend really quick as she needed it that night.PTI stamps came in really handy again. I do love their sets.
I stamped the little onesie with brilliance ink and mounted it,added a ribbon tag and ribbon with greeting again from PTI bitty blessings set. My friend was pleased as punch and one of the quickest cards Ive made ever I think.

Than all this rain of late,so what better way to get some than make a snowman card. My red card finally arrived so I was able to finish one of the La Pashe xmas singles sheets. I used the oval pyramage on this card by mounting it on to a nestabilities scalloped oval, cuttlebugged a strip of white card and used a fiskars snowflake border on the edges. For the background I used a snowflake stamp from Oysterstamps with a copper metallic ink from Encor this matches the copper edge of the ribbon, you can not really tell in the photo. A simple greeting to finish it off and another xmas card added to the list.
Singles La Pashe xmas sheets can be bought from Imag-e-nation

But my eldest son was packed and shipped off to a Shrugborough this morning He has clean clothes enough for a week ( they will probably come back still folded in his case knowing him ( he's a boy they don't believe in washing or changing it seems LOL) I will miss him loads
I'm still waiting for my card order so it looks like doing a few mundane chores before I can hit the shed again. :(
Only five days now till I'm off to Manchester I cant wait I'm looking forward to it.

And it has been a rush.... as much as I tried to be organised and get it all done before the end of the holidays I succumbed to the mad dash trying on shoes, trousers, shirts, etc New pencil cases are needed and "Mom can I have a new lunch box ? " " what was wrong with the old one?" I mistakenly ask "not cool any more" Its a cool bag I thought they kept everything cool. So three hours in the crush of the town centre and asda's regular customers I come back without new pumps, (no sizes that I need ) trousers that will only last a couple of months if he's lucky and doesn't eat so doesn't grow and a bunch of illuminating stationary that I'm sure will cause blindness when writing anything let alone a name.
The only thankful thought is once they are safe at school I can concentrate on getting back to normal (whatever that means LOL) and a routine again.
