Oh I think Ive burn't out but theres still six weeks to recover ...

This is one of the makes I did for my Stampers 10 I'm not one for following templates ( think they scare me a bit lol) but I enjoyed it. So I'm going to have a go at some more and get my brain working again ( it thinks I'm in a fog at the moment as I'm under the weather don't think its swine flu I'm just run down and Ive caught a cold) so I will stay out the way of peeps and have a relaxing day crafting I hope.

Bits and Bobs
Papers : SU bashful blue
Embellishments: whisper white ribbon and card a few punched flowers and a few dewdrops ( I love my dew drops lol)

Peace atlast .....

for Santa (he he)
I giggled,my mom giggled and Josh howled with laughter when he saw this one
especially the Reindeer's and Elves in the background.

Ive used the simplest decoration on this one using peel offs
and I have to say ( for those that don't do peel offs )
They give a great effect and don't distract from the awesome artwork.

Splish splash Santa's taking a bath

and getting ready to bring all the kiddie winks their presents
Well everyone needs a bath
( so I have to keep telling my seven year old son )

So on the front I tried to keep it simple with a plaid backing paper
and a couple of Christmas baubles with some ribbon
the snowflakes are a snowflake punch accented with crushed glass glitter
( I have heaps of this stuff and finally got to use it)
Wow what a transformation to a simple snowflake it makes

Leavers assembly so tearful........

Here's my boy after his Leavers assembly
Yes I blubbed as Ive done all week it seems
with children leaving the nursery(going up to big school)
and staff leaving,retiring.
I just had to have a few tears for Aidan's year 6
they did a fabulous performance of memories of their time at school
and I was proud of every one of them

The children got a special treat by having a ride in a hummer limousine for their last day
and a meal afterwards
Todays treat is a showing of Harry Potter at the local cinema
Don't think they will forget this week in a hurry

Have yourself a merry little Christmas

Because you know Santa will be when he's finished
and Im sure it wont be milk he'll be drinking

What wonderful sheets when I saw them I was over whelmed
Wow on top of wow, the Christmas spirit is wrapped up in every detail
I just love them,
and to top it off you get a free sheet with each one complete with verse.

Ive kept it simple with only using a lush gold embossed backing paper from Kanban
and added the crushed glass snowflakes again this time using acetate.

Check out Jackie's and Karen's Blogs for more Flippin Christmas

A Passion for Paper Trey challenge 9

I have so missed doing these and thought I better get my butt back into gear and get motivated. The challenge is to use buttons so buttons I found. I had to hunt for these small PTI ones as my bag seemed full of huge ones, but the three I found and are ideal
Bits and Bobs:
Image:PTI spiral bouquet
Inks: PTI noir
Embellishments:PTI buttons, white ribbon,PTI paper

Oh my word where have I been

I cant say Ive been busy well I have but that's another story lol. Ive been enjoying the sun and time with the kids while it was here and it was just too hot to be in a shed that needs to be seriously sorted with some more storage.
All my new stuff needs a home and so I'm having to re-design the workspace in there and getting rid of heaps of stuff I just know I wont be needing. I have been doing the odd card (when I've found the space )
Here's one I made using of course PTI stamp sets and paper

Its just too hot for some.......

and they will find any way to cool down ..since having the trampoline in the garden there is no place to put a pool so OH and Josh have found the perfect cool spot, in the water tub. Only thing is next time I think he should take off his school uniform, thats more washing for mum to do lol
