Tomorrow ,,,tomorrow

my birthdays' tomorrow lol
and Im trying to get everything done today so
I can have a duvet day for my Birthday.

I love this image of Annie Mo Manning has done and I've had her for quite a while
and not colored her in( slapped hand )

She's coloured in with copics
( R46,29,27,20,17 E37,35,33,31 00,000 W1,2,3)
I used my SU card and designer papers
and found some happy birthday ribbon in my stash, flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts
and sentiment is PTI.

I'm entering this card in for two challenges ( oh I'm so daring )
Cinema Saturday Challenge and Friday sketchers

Phew a cuppa is needed now I think
Catch ya later

I needed some time to play with girlie colours for a change
plus I got my supply of new papers from Elaine at Quixotic
and I couldn't resist using some of the new memory box papers.
The image is from the fabulous Tiddly inks shop
I used copics to colour and found some fab ribbon from my stash
The SU tab punch and Martha Stewart punch came in useful
as did the PTI mini sentiments

I'm at the market today(no not buying chickens lol)
I thought Id see what else I can find for a bargain and spend some of my Birthday money
(Birthday is not til tomorrow but I have a little nest egg put by)
So as always Catch ya Later

This was a challenge entry for august on crafter's re-united.
The image I used was one of Mo's
Little Kai in the snow
and guess what.......

I won the challenge woo hoo !!
Im chuffed to bits and honored to win
as the other entries of Christmas cards were fantastic.

Its a simple easel card, white on white, my embossing dots came out for this one
I glittered up some die cut snowflakes
added some blue gem brads and a simple christmas sentiment.

I'm off to celebrate with a piece of cake and a cuppa

Little headache

I wish mine were like this one,
this little image from JustINklined has given me the run around all week
I coloured it last Friday and I've been searching my shed for him since.
Today I had some luck and found it under my chair,
along with a few other things that went missing recently.

I used my copics/promarkers for the image
( doh forgot the ones used )
then used my rubber stamp tapestry stamps and versa color ink for the background
A Martha Stewart punch and some SU buttons finish it off just nicely.

Im thinking this weekend is time to have a tidy up as things have gone missing
Hope you all have a lovely bank holiday

Chocolate Orange cake

I thought I'd show you all Sonia's leaving cake
(as mum always makes)
I used my chocolate orange cake recipe for a change
and I know Sonia loves chocolate cake.

Its a basic 3 egg sponge recipe but with added cocoa and orange zest and juice.

Now Ive just got to leave it to set
if you notice' she's already been at a corner of it
Kids !!!

Well being stuck in the shed is a good thing
here's another of Mo's images
I coloured punkin(what a fab name) using my copics, then matt and layered some SU papers up using my drippy Martha Stewart punch
( I need to get some more of these as they are the best punches Ive found )
The chipboard letters are SU which I inked up and glittered and the bat stamps are ones I had in my collection (cant remember where from but they are a quirky set )
Its still raining here (don't think its stopped) I'm baking again today,a chocolate cake for my daughter as she quit her job yesterday after being treated real badly by the management so she needs a cheering up cake.
Think I might abscond to the shed again later and dodge that rain lol

On the eleventh day of Christmas

Another sumptuous Dame from La Pashe

I made this easel card using again some scrummy papers from my stash
and this time I accompanied it with some leaves and mini pine cones, (which Josh collected on his last country walk) a little bit of glitter and done.

I've been travelling today with the family to Melton Mowbray Farmers market
We had a fabulous morning resisting buying more ferrets and chickens
but I did succumb to a gorgeous loaf of fresh bread
I would have taken a photo but it didn't last long enough for the picture to be taken

On the Ninth day of Christmas

One of the Dames of Christmas by La Pashe.

My husband has taken a liking to these decoupage sets
( I wonder why lol)

I made this card up pretty quickly after finding some gorgeous papers out of my stash the backing paper for this one is from my Once upon a time stack
Ive had this stack for an age never wanted to use it as its so lush and strokable
but the dame was calling for something rich sumptuous
I used my gold krylon pen round the edges ( something else that hasn't been used in a while)
Well its monday and I have parcels to post and jobs to do
Catch you later peeps

Oh yes.... another Christmas card
from the
Dames collection from La Pashe

I'm making headway with my Christmas cards this year

and some sumptuous papers again from my stash.

I'm busy again this week
(I thought it was supposed to be the holidays)
Maybe by my Birthday I will be finished with these orders and have chance to relax

Pirate fun

and CPS sketch 180
I used one of Mo's pirate images for this card and some stash from my shed.
I distressed some of the edges with walnut stain distress ink and stamped a compass
then added a sentiment.
it be par..fec for that little pirate wanna be.

I'm off to relax now as I've had a busy day making 100+ cupcakes
ready for the fazeley festival tomorrow
I just hope the weather holds out
we raise some much needed funds for the charities.

Deck the Halls with boughs of holly ... tra la la la
yep.. I forget the words too to this one
This is another of the fabulous Christmas scrolls from La Pashe that Ive used for this card
I just used simple matt and layering, the white layer is embossed with Christmas messages and added some brads as there is so much detail on the decoupage I didn't want to distract from it.
Its a Gorgeous day out there it seems the Sunshine's back

Meet the mischievous elves

Christmas Crackers
from La Pashe

Simply mounted up and then some gold mirror card and embossed Christmas card, matt and layered, a simple sentiment
voila .. ..quick card for Christmas

Oooh...I would love to do this to my Hubby when he starts his Bah Humbug Christmas protests.

Bump.... Bump.... Bump...Bert Bumblethorpe

is inviting you to his Halloween get together Come if you dare ...
ha....ha... ha...ha....ha..ha...ha
Oh I had huge fun making this one as soon as I saw Bert I knew what I wanted to do with him and that was before the rest of the Halloween images had been released
(more... yes check out the Justinklined blog for more Halloween fun)

I coloured Bert with promarkers,
No copics ! I hear you ask
well I now have both and have fun using both. I figure they both have a place in the market and its fun getting used to using them.
All I can say is when using copics or promarkers have a little book handy to write down what blends and colours you've made.

The stamp set I used for the background and script was from Waltzing Mouse Stamps.
Claire has some fabulous designs for all events of the year and some fabulous stamp sets to use with your nesties

Give your Christmas a bit of Glamour

Twelve Dames of Christmas
You can find them here

I saw Three Ships come Sailing ......

Oh I just love a Christmas Carol sing song
( not in August though, the men in white coats will be calling by lol)
This sheet is from the
Christmas Carol die cut collection

I really do love how rich these sheets are and they really remind me of the
traditional Christmas

Ive made my sheet up and mounted it onto an easel card, added a few Christmas roses
and then frosted them with glitter.
I wanted the frosted look you get when Jack frost has been out doing his work
Don't you just love it when its a frosty morning and your inside having a lovely cuppa
Mmmnn nothing beats it
( except maybe lying on the beach with a cocktail in your hand lol
wishful thinking on my part )

Okay its Monday morning and I'm off to get some work done
now my cuppa has been drunk,
just might have to make another one anyone want to join me
