Oh I so know this one..

after having two girls and both of them having their fair share of tantrums from time to time
this Mo Manning image makes me giggle
Little Pheobe has started Ballet lessons and she loves it
I wonder if she's like this when she has to go home lol.

I coloured her with copics ( I soooo love them ) added a few stickles to make her sparkle a bit and used my evergrowing stash of flowers and papers.
Off to prepare lunch for the family as last week I was away from home at the craft trade fair.
Roast chicken and all the trimmings
!!! yummy!!!

I coloured it in with my SU Markers this time and the blender pens (first time in using them) I'm quite impressed.Papers again are from my ever increasing stash.

Down at the bottom of the garden......

You will find my hubby tending to his veg just like this chap.
Its a new stamp set I just had to ink up and colour in with copics

Spring is sprung .......

Anyone seen a sign of spring yet? no daffodils or snow drops?
Well this guy has been busy already preparing his garden for the year to come
Another card in the new A5 size, these are so much fun to make.

That old tin bath is back

New size and a wonderful new backing sheet
I love this image its one of my favourites...
It reminds me of when I had a coal fire, long time ago now as my girls are in their late teens and early twenties now and I would bath them in the baby bath,in front of it when it was really cold The girls would be in their fleecy pyjama 's and we would watch tv so snug.
Now we have central heating and I'm always freezing bring back my coal fire.
Catch my good friend Jak on TV today, I'm wishing her loads of luck
and check out Karen and Alison's blogs they have made some fab cards too.

Mmmmnnnnnn a scrummy cupcake

Phew.....the half term what a relief is all I can say I'm glad its here even though it means entertaining the boys for a week.
Josh has us visiting his adopted Meerkats and Asian Leopard one day in the week (to see how they are coping in the cold lol) so that will be a fun day ( just hope it doesn't snow) the rest of the week I think I will be tackling the mountain of ironing that's appeared
Oh the joys !

The joys of cupcakes lol
This card is as scrummy as it looks, again I used copics for colouring and the Daisy bucket papers
I found a pack of cupcake brads in my stash I never even knew I had.
(what's in your stash you didn't know you had ?)

Enjoy the weekend

I just love my copics .......

I've been having some me time while I can and thought I'd go through some of my digi image
they are so quick and easy to get printed off and started on.
This is one of Mo's freebies (Mary Tapping )I've had it for a while from the Paper craft Planet forum.
It's such a happy image

I used some of my daisy bucket papers for this they are so lush, so precious
I nearly cried when I cut them.
The sentiment and card are SU and flowers from my stash
Right I think I'll finish my cuppa now and see what else I can find to colour.

Catch you later : )

That little hedgehog has come out of hibernation again

This time I used my SU pens and blender pen This is one of my commission cards I've had to make. Sometimes I can never be sure a card will be received well but thankfully the recipient loved it.

Did you enjoy the spot the mistake in my last post yes my design paper was upside down I know we've all done it. I was too distracted to notice it until it was too late and I didnt want to pull it apart
For those who left a comment before midnight GMT and got it right, send me your email and I'll drop a goody bag in the post to you I cant just give five out when I have lots of goody bags made up now can I

I received a lovely little bit of post this week....

....from my buddy Viv it really cheered me up
(its been a low few weeks and now hopefully I'm through the worst of it)
So Thank you hunny
: )
In the package was this cutie pie of an elephant, I have a weakness for elephants they are just so cute
I had to colour her up as soon as I could and in my haste at making a card and talking with hubby over a storage problem ( I want more lol) I made an oopsie Can you spot it ?

It took hubby a while but then he's not a crafter and wouldn't know owt.
If you can spot the mistake, make a comment and for the first five that get it right I'll get some goodies off to you.

Not a card .....but hot pepper soup

......yes a lovely batch of hot pepper soup for this cold weather snap we are having again.

I just love this soup as its yummy and so easy to make,
just what you need sometimes if your feeling cold and damp

Here's my recipe if you want to make it
3 peppers,1 onion,2-3 stalks of celery(all chopped and de- seeded )
all in a large pan sweat them down a little
( you can roast the peppers first if you want to intensify the flavour a bit more)
2 pints of veg stock and 1 can of chopped tomatoes 1- 2 dried chillies
bring to boil then leave to simmer til the veg is soft
While simmering you can get on with more enjoyable things
Take off heat and blend til smooth

All done and its a great one to freeze too

Right off to get some more crafting done now and let Hubby play his game
Catch you later
: )
