Good Luck Jak !

Isn't this little mouse so cute asleep This is one of Mo's images again.
I'm entering this card into the
Colour Create Challenge
Red gold, white or cream well they are all there lol
The papers are graphicus 45 and from my stash. I coloured the image with copics
(I really need to use up more of the stash )
I'm like a headless chicken this week it seems here there and everywhere
I've got a to do list as long as my arm hurry up weekend I need a lie in
Off to get another tick on my list
and I thought ooooh chocolate wrappers ideal for that Halloween treat
I used a large Galaxy bar for my template (well the little bars are not enough) and removed the wrapper and measured it to get the correct sizes
If you want the sizes they are :
width 15cm, length 21cm then scored at4cm and 7.5cm (of longer side)
I stamped bats, webs and spiders from a PTI set and a Waltzing Mouse set onto the sheet and distressed the edges, a bit of dst and it was back around the chocolate
awaiting the topper
I coloured the image a little with copics and distress the edges and mounted onto orange and black card
The only thing is now I don't think this one will last til Oct 31st somehow
My kids and hubby have been eying up the slab
while its been waiting to be photographed lol
Check out what the other DT members have been doing and hop over to Justinklined
for more details of the challenge
I have been honoured with being a Guest designer for this week theme Woohoo Im so excited Thank you Sankari and Brooke
This challenge was a difficult one for me as the movie High Noon is not one I'd seen all the way through. So I called on Hubby's expertise,he's a bit of a western movie buff and filled me in on the plot and after some random googling I found an extract to watch.
Well the movie is in black and white so colour scheme sorted. He's a sheriff so a star is needed, High Noon a clock is needed and its a Shoot out so some guns are needed. So with all my elements chosen I set to work, distressing, stamping and printing out my sentiment The guns and sentiment are fonts as I don'tposses any gun stamps (must find some for future reference) The clock and clockwork workings are SU stamps as is the background.
Hope you will join in with the challenge you could have loads of fun.
I had to recap on the movie he he Well ....Johnny Depp(swoon) does it every timelol. I was amazed at the amount of blood that tree spilled,so I went with drippy blood and spooky trees from the wood then added a bit of lace for hubby's benefit as he likes the ladies Christina Ricci and Miranda Richardson. I tried to keep it quite dark as the film is very Tim Burton ,he just does dark and quirky to a tee.
oooh did you see.... did you see.... I was honoured with the Audrey award woohoo for my Annie card last week and have been asked to be Guest designer on the next challenge So come back soon and see what I created for the challenge
and I can say they are not happy bunnys today...... but hey moms got to have some me time eventually and I have managed to get another card ready for a challenge
This time it is for Mo's digital pencil challenge Have you seen her new witch of the west ...oh my She's one for my wish list to add to this Tin Man and the others I've collected from her Wizard of Oz theme. The theme this week was browns, cream, aged, well I threw everything at him rust, dirt, grime(all with copics lol). Distressed a few bits (my distresser has gone walkies so used scissors)and done.
Im off to get some more work done now the house is all quiet (its spooky!) Catch ya later

and how I used my buttons and Bows
As you can see I used theJustINKlinedMummy image on my card. I love anything to do with Halloween and at the moment its a freebie for a limited period. Check out some of the other Halloween images available too.
I couldn't resist this image of the mummy it reminds me so much of the black and white horror movies my sister used to make me watch when I was a child She scared me half to death with Frankenstein .
I used copics to colour the image in(e40,eoo )and then I found some digi papers out from my stash,my Halloween box has had a permanent spot on my desk this last few weeks. The ribbon and button are from the fabulous shop Fantastic ribbons Stamps and sentiment are from an unknown set andWaltzing Mouse.
Did I scare you no.... Okay lol this little chap makes me giggle he is so cute. It's from the greeting farm and I've recently found it again in my computer files. (As I've had to sort through my digi files and try to get more organised lol)
He's coloured with copics and the papers are graphic 45 from Quixotic I stamped t he backgrounds with a cobweb stamp from PTI and used a waltzing mouse sentiment.
got to be quick today my list of chores before school starts is huge so have a fabulous weekend Catch ya later ..
...with this Kenny K image the challenge of the week was music and Kenny's images are fabulous for that. this image was a freebie of the past and its been coloured for a while I've just been busy with other DT stuff and the hols.
