Sssssending you wishes from RINGO
I'm liking the animal images at the moment and enjoying getting back into  my cards,I've  found I  get most enjoyment from card making when there isnt a deadline or list of  wants.
Ive been looking at getting fitter is that the norm for January lol.Well at Aidans last pysio he was told to do a bit more exercise and get back into sport  (nice idea for the xbox addict)  we got the boys a Wii for xmas  so we could get a bit  fitter ( I've played it twice)  I think its working for Aidan as he worked a sweat up boxing lol  but  Ive made a decision we all need to do something and I think its important as a family to do things together  so we have had a chat and it looks like swimming is going to be the go for us (after this bugs gone don't want to share that with peeps if its swine flu )
In the mean time its family challenges on the Wii I will keep you  posted if i  manage to thrash  them ( cant see it myself lol)

There's lots of  people in this world that spend so much  time watching their health that they havent got time to  enjoy it - Josh Billings

Want a good read......Room by Emma Donoghue...

... is one of the best books I've read for a while and can see why  it was on the short list for the Man Booker prize  in 2010. I borrowed the book from my daughter to read while Aidan was in hospital and it stayed shut until Christmas  then one day  I started and read a few pages and a few more and wow its inspired not what I expected  or was it reflecting back now.
I  now understand the quotes on the back very true If you don't read another book  read this one and tell me you don't see the world differently Ive now got to give the book back to my daughter to read and move on to my next book.
Although hopefully I will be reading my next book on the kindle a late Christmas pressie from hubby.Cant wait for it to arrive Ive been hinting for the past few months lol.

A new year..............a new card

Here's some Justinklined Sunflowers to put a smile on your face in this dowdy month of January 2011
 Yes..... Happy New Year !!!!!
Any  New Year resolutions well I've learn't not  to really make any as they always seem to go to  pot  after a few days or weeks so  instead Ive set some aims
  • to get a bit fitter
  • keep in touch with friends and family
  •  schedule my life alot better
  • be thankful
  • *Make the most of everyday with those you love (* most important)
Hopefully you  will see more of  my little snippets of life this year and some more lovely cards.I feel I have to  apologies for the last few months as things have been up and down and all over the place with  family problems and situations  which  were unavoidable.
2011 is a new year and new challenges lay ahead...
This month  I have DT work to complete( so keep an eye out for that ) I have some more of my level 3 childcare course  to  continue  with  and  some decorating  to do with the boys  rooms now  Sonia has  moved out  yes  another of my babies has flown the nest
Now I could have claimed the room for my craft room( what crafter wouldn't covet a room just for her stuff )  but  Aidan's needs come first and separation from his little brother is imperative if they are to survive this next year intact
So bring on the challenge January
